AT Protocol account guides
Understand your account, choose a host, prepare a move and use your own domain as a handle. Start with the steps your current provider supports.
What is an AT Protocol account?
An AT Protocol account gives you an identity and a repository hosted by a provider. Compatible apps can use that account, including apps beyond Bluesky.
Move an AT Protocol account between hosts
A move to a compatible host can preserve your DID. Prepare repository records, referenced files, identity updates and recovery material before retiring the old host.
Use your own domain as an account handle
A custom-domain handle is a name you control, separate from your account's host. Verification must connect the domain to your existing DID in both directions.
